BRUTTIUM. Kroton. Circa 350-300 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 20 mm, 7.62 g, 12 h). Eagle with spread wings standing left on olive branch. Rev. [KPOTΩ]NIAT[AN] Tripod with ornamental volutes below the bowl and legs ending in lion's paws; to right, B. HGC 1, 1464. HN Italy 2171. SNG ANS 359 (same dies). Rare and lightly toned. The reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
